Hello!

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to extend printer support services to the Alcon field sales team. Datamax has offered managed print services to Alcon personnel working within the Fort Worth campus for many years so we are familiar with many of the unique job requirements of Alcon employees.

This "frequently asked questions" (FAQ) page has been assembled to help provide answers to questions we are commonly asked.

Question #1: I notice that USB cables are offered on the website. Do I need to order one in order for my printer to work?
Answer #1: No, the USB cables are optional. The printers sold on this website are able to use wireless WiFi home networks for connectivity. USB cables can be used if connectivity with home WiFi networks not desired or not available.

Question #2: Do I need to order ink supplies when I order my printer?
Answer #2: No, the printer ships with a starter ink supply. Ordering extra ink supplies with the initial printer order is optional.

Question #3: I noticed that the prices for the printers on this website are higher than what I see on the Internet. Why?
Question #3: This is intentional. We are taking steps to stabilize our supply chain and standardize the printer offering. This costs a little more to set up and manage; however, the upside is improved product and ink availability as well as providing the foundation for great customer service.
